Privacy Commitment

Last updated: July 2026

Pharmble Technologies Private Limited ("Pharmble", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy outlines our standards for collecting, processing, and protecting your data on the Pharmble app and website, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

1

DPDP Act Compliance & Consent

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India, we process your personal data based on your explicit, specific, and clear consent.

By signing up or using the Platform, you authorize Pharmble to collect and process your personal and sensitive health data. You retain the right to withdraw your consent at any time, access details of data processed, and request corrections or erasure of your personal data.

2

Prescription Handling & Confidentiality

Uploaded prescription images represent sensitive personal data. We enforce strict access controls:

  • Prescriptions are only shared with the specific registered pharmacist at the partner pharmacy selected for fulfillment.
  • Prescriptions are transmitted securely using encrypted pathways and are not shared with any unauthorized third parties.
  • They are stored only for legally mandated audit records under Indian drug laws, and are otherwise purged from active delivery systems once the transaction concludes.
3

Location Data Usage

To deliver a hyperlocal discovery experience, we collect and process your precise location coordinates (GPS/Network-based):

  • Discovery: To map your request to nearby licensed pharmacies possessing inventory for your search.
  • Delivery Routing: To navigate the delivery partner from the partner pharmacy to your exact doorstep. Location collection runs in the background only when the app is active and you have enabled location permissions.
4

Payment Information

Currently, orders are facilitated via Cash on Delivery (COD) or localized UPI-at-delivery. We do not store or process debit card numbers, credit card numbers, or Net Banking credentials on our systems.

For future online transaction features, payment details will be routed directly to certified PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. Pharmble will only retain transaction reference IDs and payment status flags for order reconciliation.

5

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We utilize cookies, device identifiers, and similar tracking utilities to personalize your experience, remember search history, maintain session persistence, and analyze network performance. You can restrict cookie settings via your web browser or device dashboard; however, this may impair navigation and cart functionalities on our Platform.

6

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as mandated by governing Indian healthcare and drug audit regulations (e.g., medical prescription retention periods).

Upon expiration of the retention need, or upon valid request for erasure under the DPDP Act, your data will be securely deleted, anonymized, or archived, except where retention is legally required.

7

Grievance Redressal

Under the DPDP Act and the Information Technology Rules, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address any concerns or complaints regarding your personal data.
